Material handling and installation:After unloading from the containers, Besta
TMhollowcore panels should be arranged in batches and specications, in accordance with the accompanying labels
When stocking, ensure the ground surface is level
Elevate the panels with piles of at wooden planks in order to avoid any contact with ground surface or dampness
Stocking height should not exceed 2 metres
Whenever possible, Besta TM hollowcore panels should be protected from inclement weather by using tarpaulin or packs of wrapping
Will minimize the moisture content of the panel and any resultant weight increase
When removing packing or lifting the panels, care should be taken to ensure BestaTM Hollowcore panels will not cause injury to the person
Packing should be disposed in accordance with local statutory regulations
Installation:1. Pull string and set marking line for wall installation location and alignment based on the drawings provided
2. Apply non-shrink mortar (GX-500) on the end side of panel ready for xing
3. Tilt up the wall, align and push with the surface where the mortar was applied towards the area of joints
Securewith wall brackets at top and bottom of the wall panel
4. Apply non-shrink mortar (GX-500) on the edge of the tilted panel for the next panel to be joined
5. Tilt up the wall, align, and push and secure with wall brackets at top and bottom of the wall panel
6. Verify the alignment and verticality of the installed panel and correct any positioning if required
7. Use 1:3 cement mortar at the bottom of the panel to make level with the ground
8. Gap between panels to be caulked by special mortar, and extra mortar should be pushed out while connecting panels
Clean up any residual adhesive
9. Ensure a 5-10mm gap on the top when panels are connected to wall body, beams, columns or roof panels
10. To avoid cracking on gaps between panels, cover the adhesive gap with a layer of 50mm wide alkali resistance ber mesh
